Friends, you and me....
You brought another friend...
and then there were 3...
We started our group...
Our circle of friends...
And like that circle...
There is no beginning or end.
Christian Women's Fellowship is a discipleship organization within many Christian Churches that features the ministry of caring women. On a national level, "CWF" was founded in 1949. But as early 1874, women of the Christian Church nationally had begun a missional society to help others in special need.
At our church, "CWF" has a long history and is an integral part of the ministry, fellowship and mission of our congregation. Women meet on Thursdays to engage in service and hospitality projects that raise money for the church and further its compassionate outreach. The women sew, crochet and knit clothing for poor babies at Truman West Hospital which are displayed during worship several Sundays of the year. They also create weekly lunches and make and sell beautiful table runners, bedspreads, clergy stoles and even Christmas stockings made from old Prom dresses. Membership is open to any interested women.
